Bus 800 runs between Lara and the city centre for a couple of euros per person, taking 45–60 minutes with its many stops. Honest picture: in July–August the buses run crowded and warm, so with kids or bags it is a test of patience — but for solo travelers and budget couples it works fine, and you see a slice of real Antalya on the way.

How to use it: find the nearest Bus 800 stop on the main Lara road (hotel reception knows the closest one), pay with the AntalyaKart (card guide here), and get off at Kalekapısı or Cumhuriyet Meydanı — both a short walk from the Kaleiçi entrance. Note buses stop running late at night; the evening return is taxi territory.
