Routes Europe 2027 Antalya: Delegate Travel Guide (Transfers, Hotels & Free Time)

Antalya was announced as the Routes Europe 2027 host at ITB Berlin on 4 March 2026. It’s a fitting choice: Antalya Airport handled a record 39.2 million passengers in 2025 and has just finished a major expansion, and the region has become a serious congress destination outside the beach season. If you’re one of the airline, airport or destination people heading to Belek next April, this guide covers the travel side: arriving, getting around, where to stay, and how to make the most of a free hour or an extra day. Routes Europe 2027 at a Glance

The same week, the Tourism Seasonality Summit 2027 is scheduled at NEST on 21-23 April, so expect the Belek hotels around the venue to be busy for the whole week. Arriving at Antalya Airport

You’ll almost certainly fly into Antalya Airport (AYT), which has direct flights from most European capitals and many regional airports in April, as the summer schedule starts. Check whether your flight lands at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 before you travel, as drivers and shuttles meet at different points. Official Shuttles vs Private Transfer

The organisers have said they are finalising official airport transfers and daily shuttles, with full timetables to come closer to the event. Based on what’s published so far and how big events at NEST usually work:

• Official arrival transfers are planned for Sunday 18 and Monday 19 April, from the airport to the official hotels, and departure transfers after the event closes. Ideal if your flight and hotel fit the schedule.
• Official daily shuttles are planned between official hotels and NEST, and to the networking events.
• A private transfer makes sense if you arrive earlier or later than the official days, land late at night, stay at a hotel that isn’t on the official list, travel as a team with luggage, or want a car for off-site client meetings and dinners.
• Airport taxis are metered and wait outside the terminals. They’re fine for one or two people; check the official fare board at the rank, as fares rose in March 2026.

Where to Stay for Routes Europe 2027

Official hotels first. The organisers are working with their official hotel provider on room blocks and preferential rates, and say bookings open from the end of November 2026. Official hotels will be on the shuttle loop, which matters when your meeting diary starts early. Register your interest on the official site so you hear when the booking page goes live.

Belek, close to NEST. According to the organisers, there are 11 hotels with about 12,000 beds within 2 km of the venue, and 38 hotels with about 36,000 beds within 5 km. Belek is spread out, so check the walking or driving distance from your specific hotel to NEST. Our best hotels in Belek guide is a good starting point.

Fallback options. If the Belek blocks fill, Kadriye on Belek’s western edge is the closest alternative. Lara and Kundu are 30-40 minutes away and work if you book a daily transfer. The city centre and Kaleiçi are better as an extra night before or after the event than as your base for meeting days.

Antalya in Late April: What to Expect

Late April is one of the nicest times of year here. Days are usually warm and sunny, evenings can be cool enough for a light jacket, and the sea is refreshing rather than warm. Resorts are opening for the season, the orange trees around Antalya have just finished blossoming, and the ancient sites are pleasant before the summer heat. Free Time: What to See Near Belek

The Routes team themselves pointed delegates to Kaleiçi, the golf and the coast, and there’s plenty within an hour of NEST if you add a day before or after the event:
