Kalkan is, quietly, one of the best places to eat on the entire Turkish coast. For such a small town it has a remarkable number of restaurants, many of them stacked on rooftop terraces with sweeping views over the harbour and bay. And unlike some tourist towns, the food generally lives up to the setting.
